Young Foogiano started rapping. His debut mixtape, Gutta Baby, was made available in 2017. The next year, he released The Mayor, his second mixtape. In September of the same year, he released Gutta Baby 2, his second mixtape. In 2019, Gutta Baby 3—his fourth mixtape—was made available. He gained popularity after the release of his hit song “Molly.” He won a $10,000 award in the Authentic Empire Music Group Rap Competition thanks to the song as well.
His well-known song was remixed with fellow rapper DaBaby in September 2020. With Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, he has a contract. His first studio album, Gutta Baby, was made available in November 2020. His debut album peaked at number one on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. He collaborated with Geezy Escobar to release Backwood Boyz, his sixth mixtape, in April 2021.

He makes a guest appearance on Pooh Shiesty’s 2021 song “Take a Life.” In 2020, he made an appearance on Money Mu’s remix of “Hittlin (Remix).” He appeared on the song “SolcyBoyz 2” by Big Scarr.
